BACKGROUND
For over 30 years, Spencer has gained experience in integrating the individual pieces necessary to improve all aspects of agency/organizational management; with emphasis on improving overall organizational effectiveness. Some of these individual skills are: meeting facilitation, group problem solving and decision making, developing and implementing comprehensive management systems, leadership development, team development and empowerment, and public involvement. He is a trained meeting facilitator, who is in demand to help plan and conduct meetings and workshops around the country. He is sought after as a mentor for agency leaders throughout the U.S.
RECENT CLIENTS
Colorado Division of Wildlife. Helped design and implement the processes leading to their Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy in order for the Division to continue to receive State Wildlife Grant funds and, hopefully, to receive additional funding.
Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Provided coaching and facilitation services regarding involving the public in the development of a management plan for trout in the Beaver Tailwater of NW Arkansas.
Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Helped design and implement the processes leading to their Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Plan in order for the Department to continue to receive State Wildlife Grant funds and, hopefully, to receive additional funding.
South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks Department. Developed the process and ran a series of meetings with the West River Issues Working Group to develop a legislative initiative package designed to improve relationships between landowners, sportsmen and the Department.
Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. Helped design and implement the processes leading to their Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy in order for the Commission to continue to receive State Wildlife Grant funds and, hopefully, to receive additional funding.
Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Helped design and implement the processes leading to their Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy in order for the Department to continue to receive State Wildlife Grant funds and, hopefully, to receive additional funding.
Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Helped with the design and implementation of the Wolf Working Group responsible for the preparation of Utahs wolf plan, including facilitating several public and working group meetings.
